This delicious Honduran corn-based beverage is perfect for a hot summer day and is sure to become a favorite. Let's get started! ## Recipe ### Ingredients - 3 cups of cooked sweet corn - 2 quarts of water - 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt - 1/4 cup of sugar - 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon of ground nutmeg ### Instructions 1. In a blender, combine the cooked corn and 1 quart of water. 2. Blend on high speed for 1 minute until smooth. 3. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large bowl. 4. Discard the solids. 5. Pour the remaining 1 quart of water into the bowl with the strained mixture and stir to combine. 6. Add the salt, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg and stir to combine. 7. Pour the mixture into a large pitcher and chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. 8. Serve over ice and enjoy!
