Ingredients
- 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 tablespoons of butter
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons of chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the potatoes and cook until they are tender, about 8 minutes.
- Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Using a potato masher, mash the potatoes until they are smooth.
- Add the butter, milk, garlic, parsley, olive oil, salt and pepper and stir until everything is combined. Cook over medium heat for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Transfer the mashed potatoes to a serving dish and serve hot. Enjoy!
